Directions to Rowardennan from Glasgow

By Road To get to Rowardennan head for Drymen on the B858 just left off the A811 Stirling Road. In Drymen turn left onto the Balmaha Road the B837. After around 4 miles you come to Balmaha. The road then narrows and heads north for around 6 miles (watch for walkers, cyclists and oncoming traffic). You will then come to the Rowardennan Hotel on the left nestling beneath Ben Lomond. Rail and Bus: Rail From Glasgow Queen Street to Balloch Journey Time: Approx 30 mins- First Scotrail operates a half hourly train service Bus from Balloch to Balmaha: Bus: No. 309 - Journey time: 14 mins. Bus from Glasgow to Drymen: Bus : No.8 (Glasgow to Balfron via Drymen) leaving from Buchannan Bus station, At Drymen, change to local service bus No 309 to Balmaha.
